Aims and Scope
European Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology is an open access, scientific, peer-reviewed journal in accordance with independent, unbiased, and double-blinded peer-review principles of the Academic Association of Geriatrics. It is a double peer-reviewed journal published quarterly in April, August and December electronically. The publication language of the journal is English.

The editorial and publication process of the European Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology are shaped in accordance with the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), Council of Science Editors (CSE), Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and National Information Standards Organization (NISO). The journal is in conformity with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.
European Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology is indexed in the TUBITAK/ULAKBIM, EBSCO, Index Copernicus, Gale, ProQuest, J-Gate, CABI, Türk Medline and Turkey Citation Index.
All manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s web page at www.ejgg.org Instructions for authors, technical information, and other necessary forms can be accessed over this web page. Authors are responsible for all content of the manuscripts.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
